Pluto Studio Gains Investment from TOP

Pluto Studio, the developer behind the popular Telegram game Catizen, secured funding from The Open Platform (TOP). This comes as the TON token drop approaches. TOP, a key player in The Open Network (TON) blockchain, made this strategic investment.

Catizen Reaches 25 Million Players

Catizen, along with other major Telegram crypto games, has seen significant growth. Pluto Studio announced that the game now boasts 25 million players. However, the exact amount of the investment remains undisclosed.

Game Mechanics and Upcoming Airdrop

Catizen features simple puzzle mechanics where players merge and upgrade felines in a virtual cat cafe. Players aim to earn a larger share of the upcoming token airdrop. Pluto Studio revealed that 43% of the total token supply will be airdropped to players, with the token launching on TON.

TOP’s Role in Telegram Gaming

TOP is known for developing the popular Wallet bot on Telegram. It also co-created Notcoin, the first Telegram-based crypto game, sparking the current trend. According to TOP founder and CEO Andrew Rogozov, Catizen has become one of the most successful social games on Telegram. He praised the innovative approach of the Catizen team, highlighting their influence on the future of gaming on the platform.

Future Expansion Plans

Pluto Studio plans to turn Catizen into an attention economy hub. They aim to continuously release more mini-games through their ecosystem platform. This approach mirrors Notcoin’s expansion plans, which aim to create a “Netflix of social, viral games,” according to Notcoin co-creator Sasha Plotvinov.

Investment in Akedo Games

TOP also invested in Akedo Games, a studio with developers from League of Legends and PUBG Mobile. Akedo Games is developing a virtual pet game for Telegram called AkeDog, where players can collect, nurture, and battle pets.
